This is it

Hello all. This is it. This is my blog. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I already started a baby blog, well kind of started. I chose a title, wrote a couple of posts and never felt connected to it. So, here I am, round two. I think this is it. The name came to mind for many reasons. Firstly, I was getting annoyed with myself in trying to decide on a name and thought to myself, 'it's time.' Baby also takes on a very universal noun that describes myself, my hubby and my future baby. To me: "Baby, it's time to get this blog started." To my hubster: "Baby, it's time to get ready for a family of 3." To my future baby: "Baby, it's time for life lessons, teachings and love." It's always time for something for everyone. For me, it's time to get on with it.

A little bit of background knowledge. My husband and I have been married for 4 years. I will eventually let you in on that fairytale story, for now, we're concentrating on the present. Our 4 years have been trying and wonderful, filled with frustration and love, tested by huge life quandries and easy life choices. Where we are now is a fantastic place of trust, confidence, security and certainty that we can get through anything. Happily we are almost ready to bring a beautiful baby into this world. I am ready yesterday and he is wanting to wait until. . . . well, there's always a reason to wait. At this point in time, it's down to financial stability and saving for a few months before we begin trying. So, whatever, I can't put my thoughts on the back burner. I am a thinker, an over-analytical, planning, type-A person who cannot stop thinking about baby. Being pregnant sounds like the most wonderful thing to me, right now. I can't wait to get knocked up.

Until then, I realize I need to help my body out. I need to increase my chances of my egg and his sperm happily finding each other and implanting themselves in my uterus. I need to enhance my fertility! I started looking on blogs and searching the internet on what to do to enhance fertility. I had to spend hours looking and clicking and bookmarking articles, medical journals and blog posts to find the information. There's vitamins to take, exercise that needs to happen to get my body fit and strong, foods to consume that increase my eggs' artillery for sperm attack and so much more. Well, it was irritating to do that research. How come it was so hard to find the information? Why did I have to go to a billion different places to get the answers I was looking for? Which brings me to here, this point where I decide and commit to bring the information to you. I will let you know all the information that I find, good and possibly bad, keep you up to date on my journey and beyond. Thank you for stopping by. If you dare, come along for this bumpy ride. Sit back, relax, and find your "me" time to enjoy.
